Last but not least, let’s talk about compatibility. The older your computer the less likely it is you will even be able to upgrade. Windows 11 is now more restrictive and you must meet certain requirements to upgrade. Here are some of the new requirements Microsoft is now asking for;
You will need a minimum of 64GB Storage
A 8th Generation Intel Processor – For most consumers this will be a 2nd generation Ryzen AMD chip.
4GB RAM or greater
Motherboard needs to support UEFI/Secure Boot, motherboard also needs to be equipped with a TPM 2.0 chip.
